Color correction: what to expect
A consultation, an agreed plan and sometimes more than one visit.
By Stephenie Powers
Stop coloring at home
Each new layer of box dye makes the next step harder. If you’re unhappy with your color, hold off and bring photos to a consultation instead.
The consultation comes first
The Color Correction Consultation is $0. We look at your hair, talk through your history and agree on the goal and budget.
It’s priced by the hour
Corrections vary too much for one fixed price. Color correction is priced by the hour, and we agree on the plan and time before it’s booked.
It may take more than one visit
Lifting old dark dye or evening out several shades is often gradual. Going at a pace your hair can handle keeps it healthy for the next step.
